What to expect……

On the first Sunday of the month (excluding January) we get together at our grounds for a day of fun and learning with our horses.

It’s up early at home to load up and make your way to the grounds. The day starts with volunteers to help set up for the day before we saddle up ready for gear check.

Members are put into small groups where riders share similar experience and knowledge. Together they will work through each lesson.

Professional instructors will provide top-tier training, ensuring that all members receive the best possible guidance and education.

We prioritize safety, knowledge, and skill development while fostering a love for equestrian sports.

Our club organizes various events, games, and activities that make learning and practicing an enjoyable experience for riders of all ages.

Lunchtime provides a chance for our horses to rest and for us to come together over lunch. Quality lunch options are available to purchase through our canteen.

If you're not sure whether Pony Club is for you then you need to join us for a come and try day.

You are welcome to come along with or without your horse and watch the proceedings of the day OR ride with the other members.

Please note, horses are not provided, you do need your own horse.

Bendigo Pony Club have a uniform or Green and Gold. New and second-hand uniform items are available to purchase through the club.

Items include polo shirt, woolen jumper. rugby jumper & tie. Saddle blankets with logo also available.

While it is not essential to wear this uniform when attending a pony club rally it is a nice way to unite everyone.

To become a member with Bendigo Pony Club you first need to register with Pony Cub Australia. Click on the link below to access Pony Club Australia website where you will click on the membership tab. Here you can register or log into your JustGo account and follow the prompts from there.

Once you have registered with Pony Club Australia you will then be able to select Bendigo Pony Club as your club. Here you can choose your membership. There is a membership for Junior riders, Adult riders and non-riding members which is membership for parents or rider support person/s.
